Making Story
We collaborate with a knitting factory in Bangkok, Thailand, that shares our belief in the value of handmade knitwear and specializes in hand-frame knitting. With over 30 years of experience producing knitwear for international markets, their skill combined with our creativity brings each piece to life.

Our materials
We work with deadstock yarn as a conscious starting point. Instead of producing new materials, we choose to revalue what already exists. Deadstock yarn carries history, imperfection, and potential qualities that shape the identity of each piece. By using surplus yarn, we aim to reduce waste while creating knitwear that feels personal, thoughtful, and intentional.

Hand-frame knitting — less waste, more human.
Thousand Rows is a hand-frame knitting project that explores a slower, more conscious way of producing knitwear. By working row by row, the project reduces material waste and challenges the logic of fast, automated production. Hand-frame knitting allows precise control over yarn and structure, making each piece the result of careful decisions rather than mass efficiency.
Beyond sustainability, Knit Partners foregrounds the human presence within the making process. The rhythm of hands, quiet imperfections, and accumulated time shape the identity of each piece. Knitwear is proposed as both an emotional and ethical object—where craftsmanship, responsibility, and individuality intertwine.
